It’s the beginning of the year and it's time to branch out and get involved in all the activities Pinelands has to offer! After doing my diligence, I have learned that with the variety of clubs, we have something here for everyone. From Math club to Surf club we have something that can pique your interest. If you are in need of a calm environment, we have a new club being introduced called Safe Space, which provides you with a relaxing environment to share what you may need. In the science club, Ms. Yukowski has the students work in the bogs behind the school running tests and doing experiments. The History Club that is directed by Mrs. Poerner is known for its fun trips to Philadelphia and other historical places near us. We also have multiple language clubs like the English Club run by Ms. Tichaz, the French Club run by Mrs. Gardner, and the Spanish club run by Mrs. Trenelli to further perfect your studies and skills. The Art club is a great place to express your artistic abilities and decompress after school with help from Mrs. Yaeger. Mrs. Nuener runs the computer club and the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) club which helps students prepare for future careers in business. Another important club here at Pinelands is the SADD club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) run by Mrs. Fella, which helps spread awareness to help those in danger of making those decisions. Other clubs such as the GSA (Generational Equality), Interact, Student Government, Pep Band, stage crew, video productions, yearbook, newspaper, and the thespian society are also offered to our students to help branch out and build a stronger background for their future.
