On Friday May 13th there was a special occasion for our wildcat juniors. The Junior class had held their annual prom at the Hotel Holiday INN. The night was filled with beautiful dresses, well-suited suits, and laughter and joy among the junior class. There were photo booths, food, and party favors all around for everyone to enjoy. The theme of the dance was Enchanted Forest, the tables were filled with beautiful flowers and confetti. The juniors were catered mini beef sliders, mini hot dog sliders, and mac & cheese bites for their appetizers. As for their entrees, the juniors had the choice to feast on Caesar salad, penne vodka pasta, chicken parmesan, roasted green beans, and sausage & meatballs. And for dessert they had the choice of having ice cream, cookies, or brownies. After everyone had a chance to eat, they began to announce Junior Prom King and Queen. The winners were Sabrina Moure and Jermaine Ferguson. After getting crowned the King and Queen shared a lovely dance surrounded by their junior classmates. Many of the juniors loved the dance and enjoyed their special night. Here are a few words some of the juniors said about the dance. “ It was very enjoyable”- Sadie Sweet, “I had so much fun, I danced all night, and danced with new friends. The mac & cheese bites were fire, and the pictures we took were so good.”- Brianna Cataffo, “ My favorite moment of Junior prom was dancing with my friends all night and getting crowned prom queen.”- Sabrina Moure. Nonetheless the junior class enjoyed their prom, creating as many memories as they could.
