Pinelands New Secretary
By Julia Rodgers
Ms. Seidenfaden has been working at Pinelands for only a month and a half so far as the principal’s new secretary. She was kind enough to answer some questions about her important job at Pinelands Regional High School.
I started the questions off with a simple, what is a normal day at work for you? She responded, “A normal day at work for me is, there really is not a normal day, each day is different. I handle everyday tasks. I help students, staff, parents, answer phones, assist administration, and everything else that comes up in between.” I next asked her why she had wanted to work at Pinelands. “I wanted to work here because I wanted to be closer to home and be able to watch both my children grow through the district. After 19 years in other districts I look forward to spending the rest of my career at Pinelands.” I wondered if she had graduated from Pinelands.
“No, I did not graduate from Pinelands Regional High School. I graduated from Southern Regional High School, Class of 2000,” she explained. I also wondered about college, where she went and what she majored in. “I went to Stuart School of Business Administration in Wall Twp. I graduated with my Associates Degree.” To end off the interview I asked her if she liked our school, and if there was anything she’d want to change. “I have only been here for a month and a half and so far I’m loving it. The administration and staff are all very welcoming and open to any suggestions I may have.”
Ms. Seidenfaden was very nice, and it was interesting to learn about the important role she
plays in our school.
